What kind of allergic rash, Raised skin do you get from allergic reaction to Imodium?

Started taking imodium for chronic diarrhea about two months ago. Skin rash , small red dots appeared on top of both feet shortly after, I also have type 2 diabetes, controlled by diet. Could my diabetic diet cause my chronic diarrhea? Oh................|||it definitely sounds as if you're having an allergic reaction - if Immodium was the most recent new drug you've started, try going off of it to see if the rash resolves. If it does, there are other meds that the doc can prescribe for chronic diarrhea that won't cause an allergic reaction. If going off the immodium doesn't help and there are no other new medications/lotions/creams that you have recently started using, see your doc to rule out other conditions. You don't want to continue to be in contact with whatever could be causing the reaction as allergic reactions actually get worse with more contact (as opposed to better)...which means it could even lead to swelling or breathing problems at some point.|||You need to call your doctor right now. Side effects of Loperamide (Imodium) do include rashes. And it states in the literature that if a rash occurs you need to call your doctor immediately.

Better safe than not.
