Strange skin rash/texture?

A few days ago, an area of weird texture on my neck popped up and you can't see it by looking at the mirror but i don't think it's dry skin cause it hasn't gone away after applying lotion or anything to it. It's gone behind my ears and seems to be spreading around my neck. It has almost a scaly feel to it. Any advice would be helpful!|||Use coconut oil on the spot. Often better than prescribed medications|||It sounds like a kind of fungus people can get from public pools/swimming areas,etc. - especially since it's spreading around your neck.
