What is the difference between a Lyme disease circular red skin rash and a regular bug bite?

How long after will the circular red skin rash appear? Does it also itch?|||http://www.acponline.org/lyme/patient/di...|||you can find depictions on line, i thought i had it too but it turned out to be some other sort of bug bite, nasty stuff, i suppose it would itch, but just look it up on a search engine.|||Probably not too much since the lyme's disease rash is caused by a bug bite (tick) but in actuallity the rash isn't always present with lyme's disease. Flu like symptoms, fevers at 104'F is initially common.|||You need to Google this question. Look at a picture of the rash.
