Is this a skin rash?

Is this a skin rash? I have bumps on my arms. They're not blackheads but they're the same color as my skin. I started using AmLactin lotion and it seems to clear up these "bumps" but I'd still like to know what they are...|||I have the exact same problem. It's called dermatitus. It's caused by dry skin. In a way, it's kind of a rash. I use AmLactin, too. The dermatologist told me to use that but not on the face because it's too strong. AmLactin helps alot. It's helping me right now. So keep using that on your arms it should clear up soon.|||Sounds like Dermatitus. I have it, and use Renew, a non-perscription lotion that is made by the Melaluca company.





But go to the dermatologist just to make sure about what it is.|||I have the exact same condition. I went to a skin specialist and she told me a had some condition that i cant remember the name of. She told me to buy a lotion called Aquatain. And to apply it whenever i get out of the shower. She said to not have long hot showers because this makes the bumps worse. She said also to not scratch or rub the bumps with towels or your hands, this only causes it to get worse. Its not a rash, its a skin condition that you usually grow out of and is very common.|||I'm not sure what causes them but I used to get them too. I now use a mesh body puff everytime I take a shower or bath. It gently exfoliates the skin and I haven't had them in 3 years now. It's also a lot cheaper than all the creams and lotions I tried that didn't work or only work for a while.
