Skin rash help please?

I have been outside pretty much all weekend and developed a red, bumpy irritation on my arms and on the back of my hands that itches every so often. I don't know if it is heat rash (its been about 75-80 degrees), or something in the grass (we played tackle football alot), or some chemical from the hot tub. I've previously been there alot though and never got anything like this. What could it be and what can help it?|||Were you wearing any type of sunscreen? If yes, then it maybe the CHEMICALS in it.If no,as stated it maybe the CHLORINE,which is a SYNTHETIC CHEMICAL as with all commercial products.Indisgestion meds w/Benedryl may help.Thats what the doc suggested for my daughter when she hived up from chemicals in laundry detergents. But KNOW this isn't a cure.Tracking down the trigger is whats going to stop it from happening again and again. Some interesting info you you should know listed in the sites below.|||it might be poison ivy or sun burn

if it's sun burn put aloe vera gel on your arm

if it's poison ivy so the same and go to the doctor|||well, there are too many possibilities to guess w/out actually seeing the rash. However, the easiest to guess would be a reaction to the sun from a medication your taking. are you on any medications? check w/your local pharmacist to see if it has a warning to avoid direct sunlight. If so contact your doctor. Kayla has the other 2 most likely scenarios. Poison Ivy tends to a liquid drainage to the rash.|||It could be poison ivy!|||Its most likely the clorine from your hot tub drying up your skin. Just try to use an over the counter lotion and you should be fine. Also, It could be grass irritation from the football.|||It sounds like it is an allergic reaction. The best thing would to take some anahystemine. could be allergic reation from the grass or from fertilizer. I don't think hot tub because it seems you would of broke out in a rash all over.|||Some grass can make little microscopic cuts on the skin. They itch like crazy on me. They will heal in a short time if this is what the problem is. They appear as a rash.
