Skin "rash" help, is it disease or sun damage?

my mother has lupus. there is only a 10% chance that i will get lupus and even less likely that it will be chronic. if i do get it then i will only get symptoms.

i'm still a teenager but i have a rash on my face shaped like the malar/"butterfly rash"

it makes my face look pink and when very close up, you can see that it looks like light spider veins.

i don't think it is lupus because it is not raised or itchy.

the problem is, UV rays hit you on the same place where the rash would, so the sun damage and rash would be in the same shape.

i wear a foundation to cover this up daily.

i use proactiv to keep my skin clear and it comes with a toner but it doesn't do anything to help my "sun damage",

but if i'm so young, i'm wondering how i could have sun damage like this already?

is there a way to fix this without going to a dermatologist or getting a procedure done?

what products would you recommend?|||I think it really needs to be checked out professionally. The thing with lupus is that it can manifest in various ways, and your rash may appear different from another's.

You cannot just assume sun damage and self treat, get the rpofessional opinion before you try anything else;
